If your eagle eyes spotted that this is a previously unseen cover, it’s true, issue 9 is here. We’ve rediscovered this amazing unpublished issue in a storage container. 21 years after we originally planned to put this to print got our shit together and put this bad boy out there. If you are looking for a copy, either email me at email@example.com or ping us on twitter @Andsnore for more details. Check out Dean’s amazing cover, in it’s intended form.
The issue that started everything. We printed these via an inside agent at an unamed government department. Abusing photocopier privileges to disseminate our dubious comix to a broader audience of approx. 100 paying customers.
With Issue 2, we went high tech. Using the magic of 1993’s version of Paint to get an amazing hi-res cover. The usual crew of Dean Tarjavaara, Jason Wade and Bruce Taylor were joined by long time collaborator Bridget Lafferty and a cast of thousands.
Issue 3, featuring Space-o’s infamous 2 rats in a love harness cover. This is the cover that got us banned from 2 of the 3 comic shops that bothered to stock us. Personally I think we were banned because they were sick of our crappy comic taking up shelf space and it was a convenient excuse.
Issue 4 saw the creators get creative with an A5 format green covered mini-comic. Secreted inside issue 3 as a top secret give away, this comic mostly fell on the floor in the 2 comic shops that stocked Bump and Snore in 1993.
Another mini-comic, 100% Satan in full effect on the back cover.
Issue 6 saw Bridget Lafferty kick us lazy boys into shape. Bridget motivated us to get an issue out after a hiatus of about a year and for her role in motivating, was given Editorial control and cover star status.
Sporting a great Dean Tarjavaara front cover with the sounds of your annoying neighbour ringing in your ears. Bump and Snore 7 was a return to the original editorial team.
Issue 8 was the first with a full colour cover and professionally (read, not printed on a dodgy photocopier) printed inside pages.
